Enhance your mental health literacy and managerial skills while understanding your legal responsibilities related to mental health. Approximately two in five Australians aged 16-85 will experience a mental health condition during their lifetime. As part of the manufacturing industry, which employs 185,000 Queensland workers, we collectively play a vital role in protecting and supporting our community’s mental health.
Our course is designed to support the manufacturing industry by equipping leaders and managers with essential knowledge, practical skills, and confidence to navigate mental health challenges in the workplace. Content includes fostering positive attitudes toward employees with mental health conditions, improving mental health literacy, recognizing common signs and symptoms, understanding relevant roles and responsibilities (including legal aspects), and facilitating effective conversations with individuals experiencing mental health conditions.
Upon completing the course, you’ll gain access to our eToolkit. This toolkit includes practical information, resources, and services to assist in managing employees with mental health conditions and create a psychologically healthy work environment.
